I was fortunate enough to attend the first several Bonnaroos.  I mostly remember the empty ATMs, sunburn, mud and being woken up by fireworks at 4am.  Being part of the music industry, on ‘Year Two’ I was able to get “Lammied” and had back stage passes, catered meals, VIP camping with showers.  Years Three, Four, etc. were spent (wisely) with VIP & camping at the KOA behind the farm – with HOT showers, a pool, plenty of electric, ice and eventually even limo rides to the venue.

So having forgot to get the KOA reserved early, it is no surprise that I wasn’t brave enough to attend this year and deal with the real elements.  And more than likely, if you are reading this, neither were you.

But lucky for us!!  From June 12-14, AT&T Music will deliver an exclusive webcast of Bonnaroo 2009 featuring performances from select festival artists, including: Snoop Dogg, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Paul Oakenfold, The Decemberists, Animal Collective and St. Vincent.
