It could be 5 degrees Fahrenheit and she would still insist she was perfectly warm.
I would have on at least 4 layers including my token scarf and still have cold hands.
(Before I get any threats for CPS calls, it was at least 62 when this picture was taken. I was preparing for 3 hours roaming around the zoo wildlights. I was miserable/hot the whole night btw.)
She could have all A’s and one A minus but still worry about not getting perfect attendance.
Meanwhile, I strategized on the best way to “use” all my sick days in high school.
(Thankfully for those like me – they have online/virtual high school now, only 10 sick days all year! Bogus! We had 30! 3 tardies counted as a full day missed so you had to remember to count those.)
She practices triple pirouettes.
Listens to my rants after I watched the ’16 and Pregnant’ marathon.
Plays three instruments – violin, flute, piano.
Doesn’t mind waiting for her brother to walk to the bus.
(Even though she has been ready for 20 minutes.)
She is so smart… fun to talk to, a Harry Potter/HEX wiz, a wonderful dancer, a scholar, a musician, an artist, a cheerleader, a talented cook.
And the best Daughter a Mom could ask for.
Thank you Phoebe!
Let’s make the best of your last month of being 12.
(And no, you don’t have to keep ordering off the kid’s menu.)
